REVISION TO YOUR CARE PLAN
Your entire Care Plan is due by the start of class 13. The first part of
the care plan was worth 5% of the grade. Any errors from the previously turned-in Care
Plan should be corrected in this version. The second part of the Care Plan should be
attached along with the corrected first part. Points will be deducted if the first part
has not been corrected.
The whole Care Plan will be grade as a single unit, worth 10% of your
final grade.
Student questions pertaining to the assigned reading
will be answered and the on-line tasks will be reviewed at 1 PM. Following this
discussion, the group will move on to the topics for the next class.

- You referred to Introduction to Writing Nursing Care
Plans to help organize the first part of your Care Plan. Use it now to organize this
second part. The presentation of this second part is very stylized. Following the format
exactly will maximize your grade.
- In planning goals and interventions you should have read chapter 1 in the nutrition text
plus any specific topics related to your client's eating habits or health risks. You
should have read about interventions for nutritional needs in a Nursing Diagnosis book or
a medical-surgical nursing text.
- Remember to cite your sources. Use an APA Style Guide to cite sources as you write your
Care Plan.
- Make a new cover sheet showing that this is both Part I and Part II of the Care Plan.

Look for examples of propaganda, bombardment, antisocial
messages, and editorializing in the media.
When you notice these forms of persuasion, try to think
of ways to counter messages that negatively effect the public's health. We will discuss
your ideas in class 13.
